Hey guys! I know it has been a while since I posted here.I have been super busy writing for my other sites, but I couldn’t let this news pass by. Dr. Puppet is a fantastic Youtube series that uses handmade puppets and stop motion to tell new stories about Dr. Who. Last month, on Geek & Sundry, I interviewed Alisa Stern, the creator of the series, about the upcoming and final episode.
I can’t say enough about how much I love this series. It is obvious that Alisa puts a lot of work and love into her puppets. The writing for the show is also fantastic. Even without dialog, Dr. Puppet tells a Dr. Who story that truly feels straight out of the original. It’s mysterious, funny, and a little bit scary, just like any other good Dr. Who episode.
Alisa is running an Indiegogo campaign to fund the last last episode of the season. While it may not be the last Dr. Puppet ever, it is a super important episode. The seven previous episodes led us on a exciting journey and we can’t let the series end on a cliffhanger!
Alisa is offering some cool perks if you donate to the campaign. Check out the video below for more info & head over to the Dr. Puppet Finale campaign to donate now! The campaign ends on March 31st and it more than halfway to its goal. If we band together we can get them the rest of the way there!
